As use of Internet based on user generated content is becoming trend nowadays, people are getting more difficult to be away from video sharing website like Youtube. But unfortunately, Youtube does not offer direct download service for video they are hosting. Even though there are many sites provides way to download youtube video, but all of them are only able to capture the video in form of flash video file (.flv) making it difficult to be played in a portable video player, such as iPod, PSP, etc.
But I guess I have found an easy way to make the device to play youtube video:
1. Get .flv file of youtube video from one of these websites:
2. Add ".flv" extension to the file
3. Use
Xvid4PSP to convert the .flv to mp4, which is supported by many portable media player
