Tips Buying Digital Camera in Singapore

Looking for digital camera from sophisticated digital SLRs to the amateur point-and-shoot in Singapore?
Some of these tips might be helpful for you.

1. Do Research
- check reviews of the camera you are looking for at some IT portals such as www.pcmag.com, www.cnet.com or her localized sister: asia.cnet.com, since you might not get the full coverage buyers' review you may want to:
- check buyers review on www.amazon.com
- if you have time, use google specialized search to get more review or discussion from particular websites or forums:
for example, if you want to get some discussion for latest Sony DSC-T77 Cybershot, from well known Singapore Hardwarezone.com forum, you can try to google this keyword:
"Sony T77 site:forums.hardwarezone.com.sg"

Funan IT Mall Singapore

2. Check Price
- You can get estimated price from asia.cnet.com, but sometimes it is a bit overpriced, to get best deal you can check:
- Bargain City, this is like amazon.com where they only have online store and deliver order to you
- Ms Color, you can get e-quotation for camera model that you want. They usually reply very promptly
- Harvey Norman or Courts, although I think that these stores does not offer best deal so far
- Some stores at Funan IT Mall: Allan photo, Bally Photo or Bestcam
- Latest day of PC show, IT show or SITEX, I notice that they only offer best price at last day of the exhibition
On my experience, Ms Color offered best price for camera model I was looking for.

3. Check the Product
The most important thing is you need to check the camera and packaging content as well as warranty.
